Surah Al Infitar , 82


friends, dato and tanseri,

we move on to surah al infitar......
we have excellent choices here and all of them have their very  own special perspectives and nuances.
i listen to all of them , in fact went over tgna 3 times over.
his demise is a great loss to us all.
just look how pathethic that ugama party he had left....they are now running around like a headless chicken......

tgna is one of my favorite tok guru
i can count myself lucky to have met him at his house 4 years back and had lunch with this very
waru' man.

do enjoy and listen to all of them.

سُوۡرَةُ الانفِطار
بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

إِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ ٱنفَطَرَتۡ (١) وَإِذَا ٱلۡكَوَاكِبُ ٱنتَثَرَتۡ (٢) وَإِذَا ٱلۡبِحَارُ فُجِّرَتۡ (٣) وَإِذَا ٱلۡقُبُورُ بُعۡثِرَتۡ (٤) عَلِمَتۡ نَفۡسٌ۬ مَّا قَدَّمَتۡ وَأَخَّرَتۡ (٥) يَـٰٓأَيُّہَا ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنُ مَا غَرَّكَ بِرَبِّكَ ٱلۡڪَرِيمِ (٦) ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَكَ فَسَوَّٮٰكَ فَعَدَلَكَ (٧) فِىٓ أَىِّ صُورَةٍ۬ مَّا شَآءَ رَكَّبَكَ (٨) كَلَّا بَلۡ تُكَذِّبُونَ بِٱلدِّينِ (٩) وَإِنَّ عَلَيۡكُمۡ لَحَـٰفِظِينَ (١٠) كِرَامً۬ا كَـٰتِبِينَ (١١) يَعۡلَمُونَ مَا تَفۡعَلُونَ (١٢) إِنَّ ٱلۡأَبۡرَارَ لَفِى نَعِيمٍ۬ (١٣) وَإِنَّ ٱلۡفُجَّارَ لَفِى جَحِيمٍ۬ (١٤) يَصۡلَوۡنَہَا يَوۡمَ ٱلدِّينِ (١٥) وَمَا هُمۡ عَنۡہَا بِغَآٮِٕبِينَ (١٦) وَمَآ أَدۡرَٮٰكَ مَا يَوۡمُ ٱلدِّينِ (١٧) ثُمَّ مَآ أَدۡرَٮٰكَ مَا يَوۡمُ ٱلدِّينِ (١٨) يَوۡمَ لَا تَمۡلِكُ نَفۡسٌ۬ لِّنَفۡسٍ۬ شَيۡـًٔ۬ا‌ۖ وَٱلۡأَمۡرُ يَوۡمَٮِٕذٍ۬ لِّلَّهِ (١٩)  








Surah Al-Infitar [ The Cataclysm ]
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the heaven is cleft asunder, (1) When the planets are dispersed, (2) When the seas are poured forth, (3) And the sepulchres are overturned, (4) A soul will know what it hath sent before (it) and what left behind. (5) O man! What hath made thee careless concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful, (6) Who created thee, then fashioned, then proportioned thee? (7) Into whatsoever form He will, He casteth thee. (8) Nay, but ye deny the Judgment. (9) Lo! there are above you guardians, (10) Generous and recording, (11) Who know (all) that ye do. (12) Lo! the righteous verily will be in delight. (13) And lo! the wicked verily will be in hell; (14) They will burn therein on the Day of Judgment, (15) And will not be absent thence. (16) Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! (17) Again, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! (18) A day on which no soul hath power at all for any (other) soul. The (absolute) command on that day is Allah's. (19)

In this life, man is constantly required to watch the sky, marvel at the stars that adorn it and admire its symmetry and perfect design. The Qur'an asserts: "He created seven heavens, one above the other. You will not see any flaws in the Merciful's creation. Turn up your eyes: can you detect a single crack? " [ al Mulk : 3 ]

When the final Hourcomes, everything is turned upside down. It is a time " When the heaven is cleft asunder, (1) When the planets are dispersed, (2) When the seas are poured forth, (3) And the sepulchres are overturned, (4) A soul will know what it hath sent before (it) and what left behind. (5)

Let us visualize the scene: Cracks all over the skies; stars shooting and falling in every directions; the oceans overflowing; and graves opening up and throwing out their contents, with the dead being prepared for resurrection in total bewilderment.

With this cataclysmic event in mind, a reprimand is given:

"O man! What hath made thee careless concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful, (6) Who created thee, then fashioned, then proportioned thee? (7) Into whatsoever form He will, He casteth thee. "(8) 

Man will ask himself: What have I done during my life to prepare myself for this momentous day? In this life, man would sooner overlook divine advice and be led astray by his whims and desires. He tend easily to linger and fall behind when called upon to work hard and make some sacrifices.

 For most people, the advent of the heafter will come as a shock, and they will be told: " 
 Nay, but ye deny the Judgment. (9) Lo! there are above you guardians, (10) Generous and recording, (11) Who know (all) that ye do." (12). Throughout one's life, faithful angels accurately and meticulously record one's every action. On the Day of Judgment, every human being will be presented with a true and full account of their life before their final destination is decided. " Lo! the righteous verily will be in delight. (13) And lo! the wicked verily will be in hell; " (14)
