Surah Al Falaq , 113

tuanku,

back in the early 60's when patik was
still in in primary school, terengganu was the most backward states in the then peninsula malaya....social, economic, terompah or beef bueger index, whatever you name it.

from kota bharu it took 4 ferry crossing to reach kuala terengganu. we have to drive thru tiger infested areas beyond jertih right up to kt.

the socio economic index for comparision , at least applied by us prmary school going children then , was very simple. we go by 'the number of traffic light a town has'. kota bharu then had one , right smack infront of the old bata shop, not far away from panggong odean. kuala terengganu had none!

now almost 60 years later, thanks also to kelantan oil contributing to terengganu's well being, kelantan is the backwater of peninsula malaysia. in terengganu everything looks brand new.
yes they have have their own problem and was nicknamed terengannu darul runtuh once  but that comes with a problem of plenty.

yes, while terengganu still have problems with their mat rempits, their mat rempits are on average better off than ours .
their parents has more disposable in come: they ride bigger bikes than the average tok bali mat rempit.

just care to take a drive when you are free tuanku; to tumpat and bachok and tok bali and you would know the drift i am getting at.
or better still, tuanku can try with tuanku's ferrari driving from aring, near gua musang , into terengganu's hulu teganung. the difference is deafeaning!
please do inform aa beforehand to have a tow lorry ready....

that was why , when our local kelantan politicians when they have a chance to access to economic betterment post pru 14, but decided to join the losing team, which was their sworn enemies for decades, patik and many kelantanese friends back in kl lose our cool.

patik am not saying tuanku's politiciansrunning the state currently are moronic, but patik's friends who mainly kelantan lovers at heart think , they are almost there.

ini patik tak faham................

on the other side of the coin though, that old decrepit tuan guru in teganu may have the last laugh.

come pru15, a reformed amenu with his islamist party, pas , may win it hands down.
tdm currently seemed not able to beef up his bersatu despite having having 'monkeys' from jeli and elsewhere jumping down to his 'trees'.

at 93 going on to 94 , age is against him whatever genetic engineering his personal physicians do or dont do.
dsai will then have his schooldays ambition to be pm fulfilled.
just for a short while only.
pkr , without significant malay support, will only be a party for malay elites and socialist indian lawyers. it will remain so.

will tdm be disappointed if pakatan loses the next general election?
a big NO!!......patik don't think so.

his plan b is still operative.
ntr and all his kuncu2 will go to sungai buluh.
our children and grand children will not have to go to dubai to be maids and drivers...
malaysia will not join the likes of greece, congo or liberia.

we malaysians have to look beyond the present grand political players.
that, tuanku, is tdm's plan b!

we move on to surah al falaq, which we did 7 years back .....this is a revisit if tuanku  care to remember.
