i have a public confession to make here.
there was a time during your previous administration when you were so powerful and were 'untouchable, your favourite 'hobby' was  to dismantle  'institutions' one after another.

you were getting so unpopular amongst us young people of that time that
if you were to die in office at that time, some of these young 'foes' of yours even would not mourn that national loss.
.....and i would have no complaint about  that.

i was a not so young medical consultant then  and on one occasion, during ramadan, literally 'gate crashed' to a sri perdana buka puasa do....it was a gpms dinner and you were hosting them.

i was not a gpms member.

i was there because i met an ex army commando type at my hospital that day, who took up 10 million rm of life insurance, ' just for my young wife doc..a safety net...!'.
'why 10 million rm? ', i thot, ' filthy rich chap running a  very risky business '.

he bragged he miraculously just escaped with his life at the  911 attack in new york 4 weeks earlier, and he had to see you that night bringing home 'some' good news.
his news and insurance volume was out of the world for me!

he invited me to join him,.
i assumed he had special function and does 'covert special operations' for the pm.......
otherwise it is not everyday that one sees a chap, malay chap especially , taking a 10 million rm insurance.

" you can shake dr m's hand if you like...we will be seated next to the vvip table!...come join me doc..it is a rare treat ", he quipped.

" i dont mind gate crashing  there, anyway i enjoy meeting tun hasmah!...i know her very well "

i remember praying isyak and terawek just by your side, in the great hall.

i just finished reading tun salleh abbas's 'mayday for justice'.
still could recall meeting tun the former cj several time in makkah and i cried at the injustice that fell on him.
i was angry........and i don't remember shaking your hand , that night, not even once.

then we have  pak lah after you, who slept on the job....it was still ok, since we dont  lose billions from our public funds. we lose a couple of billions  due to flow of foreign fund and ringgit fallout,but there was no  massive 'raid' on kwsp, tabung haji , felda, khazanah, petronas  etc  and etc and etc.

then came this 'pelesit'....and we were almost bankrupt as a nation!!
we almost become permanent slaves to china.
he almost robbed the nation's financial institution dry.
worse still we see the obvious failure of institutions.

topping the list, the monarchs.
they  just looked on as business as usual even though they obviously know.

'hakim' and the ag's office of the day were helping this 'pelesit' as if they were associates...

bnm just made muted noises here and there....billions melted under their watch and numero uno of that day just warmed her seat as if nothing happened.
a resignation of sort would have made a difference.

the corporate giants were saying all things were still good and rosy....the country being run well!

and the very top civil servants were helping along with the 'pelesit' without any qualms.

the academia nodded palpably in agreement while the electronic and print media 
were totally impotent.

the whole cabinet were very quiet in the national looting...
senior members like the mp from jeli and senior ministers  just warmed their seats for decades and not an ounce of integrity and honesty and have no 'balls' at all to  say NO to the national rape and plunder!

.....and they collectively were happy to take home their salaries, even when the dpm , already ailing from cancer,  has the honesty  and  modicum of  integrity to resign.
but he was alone.
the other clowns in the cabinet stayed back!

so big was the haemorrhage, that omg even the national feedlot debacle, a 250 mullion rm daylight robbery, became just 'pea nut' stuff, not even worth bringing to court...

only there was loud chatter and grunts from the social media, alhamdullillah

the increasing  grunts and chatters in the social media helped galvanise public opinion in the pru 14..

then we have pru 14th.
allah was with the raayat.
...and the rest was history.

i have a couple of nonagenarian on my follow up list at the hospital.
one chinese gentleman , whom i am very fond of , mr yap, was the brightest of them all.

he had turp surgery for his prostate and that same night had a massive heart attack at age 90.
he had a salvage infarct angioplasty and stenting that same night under my care , and at 98, every time he came to clinic he would say:

" doctor, saya mahu mati...saya mahu mati....saya mahu mati! "
he was in good health.


" no mr yap, you belum boleh mati.....jantung you masih kuat!.."

he was lonely . his wife died 30 years back. all his children have passed away. he was living with his grand son and looked after by two fillipino maids.
he died this  year, age 101, in his sleep.

at 93 now with 94 fast coming up; running a very rookie cabinet and having a nation of people who complain why 'roti canai' is still one ringgit fifty and tolls not coming down.....
etc etc and etc ...that is a lot of headache for your age.

you dont want to face all  these  'b.....dy nonsense' at your age but these come within the territory of being the numero uno of a country still divided along racial lines and having definite economic polarities also along those lines.
added to these, you have nine royal houses to contend with, and one young prince from the south  making a lot of 'animal' noises like an injured poodle. 

all and sundry knows he is playing a dangerous and useless game.
i am quite surprised senior members of the monarchy are still giving this chap a free  leash.

it is against the monarchs interest to allow this kind of nonsense to go on.
i am very sure certainly they, above all the rest, must know that after pru 14th, nothing is sacrosanct anymore!
all are 'movables' depending on circumstances and the 'price the pain the raayat' has to pay and bear....

that is the bottomline.!

and top of these din, noise and nonsensical antics, we have the totally deluded 'pelisit' out there still in cloud nine making noise as if nothing  happened under his watch!
the faster we put him in sungai buluh the better!

other lesser individual even much younger would have buckled down under the pressure.
but not you.
alhamdullillah.we all love you tdm.

i like her.
