a young man asked a great sufi master, al bayazid, '' what is a sufi ? ''
bayazid replied, '' if we find , we are shukr, and if we don't find, we are sabr! "
" oh! you are no better than most dogs in baghdad! when they find, they are happy, if they don't , they go hungry and wait for the next day.."

' what is your definition then, young man?", asked bayazid.
" if you find, you give to those who do not, and if you don't find, you are shukr! "
