Surah Al Baqarah , 2 : 255

Surah Al-Baqara

Allah! There is no God save Him, the Alive, the Eternal. Neither slumber nor sleep overtaketh Him. Unto Him belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth. Who is he that intercedeth with Him save by His leave? He knoweth that which is in front of them and that which is behind them, while they encompass nothing of His knowledge save what He will. His throne includeth the heavens and the earth, and He is never weary of preserving them. He is the Sublime, the Tremendous. (255)

................an anecdotal story here.
my younger brother who stays in my beach house in teganu told me one day when i was there, " abe howk, rumah ni i rasa 'kerah' sikit.. '' ok lae i will remedy this..don't you worry".
i was in generous mood that night. post isya' prayer... i decided to read  kul huwallah a thousand time, kul a'u zubirabbinnas a thousand time, a thousand al falak, and ayatul kursi a thousand time.

the 1st three short surah i easily finish by 2 m.....
omg! a thousand ayatul qursi took me up to 9 am the next day!
never again i will do this..making a mental promise with allah which is tough to deliver.

i have no sunnah for doing this but i was in generous experimental mood.
