well worth listening wholly
fascinating story from a member of the mufti council for giving fatwa for uk and europe.
the shaykh has some very illuminating anecdotes.

before ladies, here especially, give harsh statements on the syarie courts on matters of divorce i would advice them to listen to this shaykh's discourse fully and carefully.

now i am beginning to look at those 'boys' manning  the fort at mais, maik , maip , jakim etc and etc with more understanding.
we lack ilm , ilm and ilm and make harsh judgement on our muftis mainly.

they dont have many 'ways' to move.
follow the hadith and the quran and when the example are neither in both, they have to use their collective grey mater, in ways limited by the hadith and the qur'an.

oftentimes the constraint come from the royal houses as well lording over them as in the case with 'rokok fatwa' some years back.

some 'people' who should know better oftentimes plays to the gallery even in matters of ugama!

we the ignorant masses are 'imaginative'. 
some of us are brought up from day one on a daily staple diet of ignorance , kuffur and ghaflah.
thus the vast dichotomy in thoughts and deliberation between us and the ulul amri is not surprising.

one corporate lady, a banker, some years back was angry with the fatwa council over a fatwa on yoga.
that anger just revealed her obvious ignorance of what a fatwa mean and the position of the ulul amri in our relatively  'irreligious' millieu'.

we have no nabi now for over 1400 years.
our ulul amri we treat them like 'dirt'.
they are 'sahabat nabi ' in his absence.

we treat them like 'dirt'
this is dunia akhirzaman!

some clowns amongst the ladies are even taking the ugama bodies to court over a fatwa!
ya allah, apa nak jadi kepada kita ni!

dah lah ilm kurang,
iman tak kemana,
amal lagi kurang 
ihsan......' what animal is this?'

to make matter worse these are the 'clowns' that are given mple space and time to air their horrendous ignorance of their ugama in the public domain.

dunia akhir zaman!!
