Surah al Mujadila,58..............Prologue....

Sūrat al-Mujādilah , [ "She Who Disputes  ] is the 58th surah of the qur'an , consisting of 22 ayat.

it is a madinan surah.
the surah in its opening gambit addresses the legality of pre-Islamic method of divorce of that time, called zihar. 
"she who disputes" refers specifically  to one khawlah binti tha'labah, a woman who petitioned nabi muhammad about the cruelty of her husband and husbands in general  of that time. 

her petition is as relevant then, as it is now, currently.

the surah also discusses public assemblies and prescribes manners associated with it. 

it ends by contrasting 2 groups of people.
the people of allah, and the people of syaitan and iblis.
