Before We Move On to Surah al Mujadila.........Station 7, sabr and shukr

friends, dato and tansri,

" how wonderful is the life of a believer " ,says the prophet.
" if some thing good happens to him, he is grateful to allah...
and if some thing bad happens to him he has sabr ".

whether allah is giving him something or is holding on to something from him, it is inconsequential. 
every possibilities and probabilities  in this complex permutation and combination of his earthly life, draws him nearer to HIM.

that in essence, is the seventh station of a salik's journey to allah.

when you say, ' la ila haillallah ', people around are not going to let you go off scott's free.
clowns around you will harass you. 
they will label you. 
you will be named names!
in some places in this planet earth, they will even 'drone' you or keep you in solitary confinement.....

i wrote about this rather jokingly in my blog, pearls & gem, some ten years back...

in the usa or europe , if you are seen to pray five times a day in a particular mosque, your name and your contacts names, will find their way into some super computers somewhere...
if someone from the same masjid happened to be caught for some misdemeanour against the state, someone  will come knocking at your door one night , and you may even be taken away, and the kuffar will 'build up' a case against you.....

it is happening now, in usa and europe , even in uk, sooner than i expected.

the believers, on this earth , needs sabr and shukr.

gratitude is a defining attitude of a believer.
a state of  the heart, an attitude of the  mind.
this world, by it's very nature, is full of perceived  and real injustice.

a believer, at what ever level of injustice, says ' alhamdullillah '

......' look at people below you ', says the prophet.

tdm cannot cancel ecrl.

without prior advice from epu, i can assume, anak pak jab kita, hastily already signed a one sided agreement with the chinese.

we have to pay 20 billion rm within 30 days if we rescind the agreement..omg!

if i am  allowed to wonder aloud, how much upfront the chinese are coughing out to have this soo much one sided agreement, signed and sealed in record time, without proper epu due diligence?

or is that mamak sire-apakahnamadiadah having a hand in this very stupid agreement?

but on the bright side your excellency,ecrl is not all doom and gloomy.
yang rugi dah rugi lah tapi , we can still gain something there even though anyone with a head on his  shoulders will not want to rush into building a railway which will put him 60 billion rm down for generations to come...

i was discussing ecrl with patik's friends the other day, nadzru of melur, a hard core oil man thru and thru, and ts ming of melawati.

granted there would not be enough kerepok lekor and nasi dagang buisness between teganu and kl to pay for erl but the chinese

may make the rail busy for transporting their oil from the spratly and we at our end can make tdm come to his sense by using tumpat and tok bali as the staging post for our oil and gas going to china instead of  doubling up to singoro and back to johore for refining and up again to china.

the old man if he can come bck to his sense this time can make us kelantanese a happy lot.

pay us back 20 billion rm in with interest for the wang ehsan as well!!

ok we will be charitable...forget the interest.
