Before We Move On To Surah at Tur.........Imam al Ghazali

let us view imam al ghazali, hujjatul islam and mujadid, around 5 centuries after nabi, [  born in tus, iran 1058 ce, died in tus,  december 19, 1111 ce ],
from the perspective of t j winter aka shaykh abdal hakim murad, cambridge scholar and shaykh hamza yusuf, doyen and founder of zaytuna institute, california, an institute build on the principle of a 'pondok style' teaching at the tertiary level.

both hamza and hakim murad, are allah's gift to this ummah in a century where 'bloody mindedness and small mindedness within the milliue of islamic scholarship abounds everywhere else ....

if you find shaykh hakim murad too academic , listen to hamzah yusuf.
i would suggest  if you have no stamina, lie back on your sofa , turn on the air cond, listen to hamza first, then if you still are interested , move on to hakim murad's dry and rarefied discourse.

we need to know who is imam ghazali at least.

knowing people like him exist within our ummah even many centuries back can at least help elevate our station from the ummah that bickers unendingly over the nitty gritty of 'how to do proper ablution'; to do 'talkin' or not to do 'talkin'; this and this are 'bidaah'.....to come to know about real islam and move on to get clser to 'allah'

otherwise we will forever be stuck at the 'ablution phase' of our ugama.

shame on you guys who are in a position of power to do something but chose to be insignificant and irrelevant.

shame on you guys who abetted in this crime against the raayat in general.
we do not have to name names here.
they hold important posts in the civil service and government infrastructures.
there are a few who are supposed to look after justice but involve in a miscarraige of justice

shame on you so called scholars and professors, muftis and ulama who just remain quiet on the sideline and able to give all kind of self deluded rationalization.
a conspiracy of silence among the cerebrally gifted. for most even tacit agreement with the culprits.
'kangkong' and 'cendol' professors and academicians......
