shaykh mokhtar al maghraoui is a popular religious teacher working mainly at al-Madina Institute. Originally from Algeria, he is thoroughly versed in Islamic disciplines and holds a doctorate in the fields of physics and engineering. His expertise includes the disciplines of tazkiyah and fiqh. He is best known for his enlightening retreats and seminars empowering Muslims on their spiritual quests. shaykh maghraoui is also an active participant of interfaith trialogue with the jewish and christian communities in New York State.
